Alexis is a Melbourne artist who has been exhibiting since 1996.
She completed a Masters of Fine Art (research) in 2004 after graduating with a
degree majoring in printmaking.
Alexis draws her inspiration from natural history, the environment, museum
collections and birds in particular.
Prior to making and exhibiting her own work she worked as a graphic artist and
natural history illustrator for educational publishers and government
departments.
In 2014, Alexis had a solo show at MARS Gallery in Melbourne titled ‘Second
Nature’.
